L’Oréal - Armani division - PDP Campaign management workflow

Armani manage a lot of Marketing Products Campaigns to be launched all over the world (PDP). The goal of such project is to produce Marketing material that will be used anywhere in the world. Such project goes into 3 phases:

Building Master Files

The Masters are the stating point of every project where one or more specific products are chosen to be the reference products in the campaign. These product will be shot and worked heavily in order to build a reference “Image” to be reused for all variances a step further 

Creating all Variances

The Variances are created from the Masters where all the details have already been validated, checked and approved. The number of variances is project specific and can be through more than XXX types of called “Deliverables”.

Collecting Deliverables

Once all Variances have been created and approved, it is now time to collect, store and verify that nothing is missing for the campaign and be technically compliant to the Armani Specs regarding file types, Colorspaces, Resolution, naming convention before being archived

Above the steps of the exact workflow, the stakeholder in such launch are:

Armani Studio

Armani Studio is in charge of managing the initial work of building the Masters from the actual products the Marketing department wants to build a campaign on. This starts by the kicking off of an Aproove project in order to associate the Products, the Marketing, the agency in charge of building the Marketing material.

Armani MKTG

Armani Marketing is the project sponsor and has the knowledge of the Campaign Product content, the expected deliverables and all the associated information to the project.

Armani Traffic

Armani Traffic ensure the all Deliverables are technically compliant to Armani specs for archiving in Armani’s DAM repository.

Photo Studio

The external Photo Agency is in charge of doing the production work and tightly works with Armani Studio team to build the Masters and Armani Marketing team to work on all expected Variances.

Project Kick off Workflow (Information capture workflow)

The workflow is kicked off by the Armani Studio. The first task is fill a form in order to designate the Marketing sponsor of the project (Orange Step - Form #1) and then this Marketing sponsor (Red step - Form #2) get invited to fill a more sophisticated form with all the information needed to kick off the project:

Once Marketing team is fine with all Product Variances, it goes to the Traffic team in charge of checking that all deliverables are compliant to Armani specs (7 - 8).
