Yves Saint Laurent beauté was the first L'Oréal brand to be equiped with a full Aproove solution in December 2013. All their exchanges, uploads, reviews, approvals, content proofing and file distribution with their suppliers and subsidiaries are now handled using Aproove with a massive time saving, total security and comfort. Retouching operations from suppliers where requiring between 24 to 48 hours in the past. Using Aproove, all those operations including certified hardcopy color proofing delivery are now done in real time and does not require anymore carrier with the remote contract proofing option.

Closed loop reviewing and Micro Workflow™
When a guest is involved in the workflow using an invitation, the stakeholders who sent them is able to predefine the expected feedbacks of their guests by simply choosing a question from a list that fits the current workflow needs. The multiple predefined answer choices will give an accurate feedback to invitor. This clear feedback will allow invitor to manage “to do list” (see next point), and review feedbacks very efficiently. The feedback itself will be able to trigger pre-defined automated actions in the workflow if expected (see Action & state section). This approach is called Micro Workflow™ and is unique in the way people are collaborating inside Aproove. This approach gives an exceptional flexibility to project managers, stakeholders or simple users to manage their own internal reviewing cycles according to their project phase needs.

Quick invitation process
When project submission is done, some key users or job managers can invite attendees on the fly. The invitation can be for a guest (anonymous – needs only an email address) or named user (existing user). Invited persons receive a custom email in their own language with a link to the wished part of the project’s material : right asset and right part of it, right zoom level or right timecode, right area of a material or right range of asset, in the right display mode like standard, flipbook, layout, comparison, cinema view, etc. No login and password are needed to use invitation. You can either manage the complete project using invitation or a part of it, up to you!
This dramatically simplifies project pre-configuration and offers a very powerful way to manage exceptions in a complex collaboration workflow as well as very complex decision routing where it is almost impossible to plan the decision tree accurately.


Powerful annotation flow management (AFM tool)
When job submission is done, all involved users are notified using a custom made email. This email is written in the end user language and invites required users to login. All users have their own interface to annotate, approve pages or the whole job. Users can be grouped into a closed environment where they are able to share notes privately (like in a virtual meeting room). Only pertinent annotation can go to the upper level. The group manager chooses these annotations. The last upper level is the agency, the printshop or simply you. This offers a very powerful collaborative solution for any document.
Versioning control and display
Aproove use a "Time Machine" like functionality to display page versions. Each time a new page including creative corrections is pushed, Aproove can display older versions in seconds. This feature permits very fast comparison of "before" and "after" from any to any version.
